Could It be Our Last Ramadhan?

Assalamu Alaykum,
At this juncture, Ramadhan our Respected guest is getting ready to leave us. Another Ramadhan passed, but have we passed?
May Allah grant is the ability to make amends the last few drops of Ramadhan that are available to us. Just as we should pray, as if it is our last Salaah, perhaps this thought should cross our mind this COULD be our very last Ramadhan, and our last Laylatul-Qadr. Indeed if we could derive an address from the inhabitants of the grave, some of them would say, that they had no idea that last Ramadhan would be their last, and only if.......
So, let us embellish these last few strokes with much remmeberence of Death, Istighfaar, Tawbah, Tilawaat, making up with people, making Sulaah with Allah SWT - literall making a pact with Allah not to disobey Him anymore, and ask him assistance in this regard Insha-Allah Ta'ala.
Please pray for me too.
was-salaam

Month of Ramadhan

Dear Friends,
Dalam rangka menyambut Bulan Suci Ramadhan, saya dengan tulus ikhlas memohon maaf apabila ada kesalahan di bulan-bulan lalu..
May Allah not make us one of those who do not get anything from their fasts except for hunger and thirst. And May Allah guide us towards making this Ramadan a source for gathering numerous blessings and getting our major and minor sins forgiven.
May Alllah accept our efforts and make every moment of this month a means of receiving His Mercy, Blessing and Forgiveness. May we all be granted a place in Jannah, Aameen.

Spend Time Wisely

Assalamu Alaikkum,
Dear Brothers & Sisters

Once, a group of people were traveling on rocks at night...A voice camefrom the sky that whosoever picks up the rocks will regret and whosoever doesn't pick up the rocks will regret... Now, the people wereconfused...How can this be?...Whether you pick up the rocks or not, youwill regret!...Anyway,some people picked up the rocks and some didn't...

In the morning when they reached their homes, they saw that the rocksturned into diamonds... Now, those people who didn't pick up the rocksstarted regretting saying "If only we had picked up some rocks..."Those people who did pick some rocks also started regretting saying "Why didn't we pick up more rocks..???" Both sides ended up regretting...

Dear Muslims, this same incident will take place with us on the Day ofJudgment...Those people who spent their time in useless things will start regretting by looking at those who achieved a great position in Paradise by spending their time in the way of Allah...

Now, those who did achieve a position in Paradise will start regretting by looking at those who did more than them and are higher in status..." Alas! If we had only done more to please Allah....!!!"

If this information is beneficial to you, then please do forward it toyour friends and relatives. The Prophet of Allah (S.A.W.) said; "Whoeverguides or directs to good, then he gets the same amount of blessing(reward) as the one who does it"

Why do we read Qur’an, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word?

This is a beautiful story… … …

An old Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa wakeup early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?" The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water." The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breathe, he said, "See Grandpa, it's useless!" "So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket." The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out. "Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives."

If you feel this story is worth reading, please forward to your contacts/friends. Prophet Muhammad (P.b.u.h) says: "The one who guides to good will be rewarded equally"

Wassalam,

May Allah bless you all the ways … … …
